1. Arbaaz Khan buys ₹2 cr apartment in Mumbai’s Jogeshwari

• Actor Arbaaz Khan purchased an under-construction apartment for ₹2 crore on the 27th floor of Autograph Residency on Link Road, Jogeshwari.

• The project is being developed by Mutistar Builders LLP, with possession scheduled for December 2030.

• The apartment has a RERA carpet area of 1,243 sq ft and comes with two dedicated parking spaces.

• The deal was closed at a price of over ₹22,000 per sq ft, reflecting strong demand in Mumbai’s western suburbs.

2. Tejasswi Prakash buys ₹7 cr Bandra apartment

• Television actor Tejasswi Prakash purchased a ₹7 crore apartment in Bay Heights, located in the premium Bandra Reclamation micro-market.

• The apartment is on the 14th floor and offers over 1,303 sq ft of carpet area along with two car-parking spaces.

• The project is being developed by Hiranandani Developers in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

• The building remains under construction, with possession scheduled for November 2030.

3. Rajan Shahi buys ₹13 cr penthouse in Madh Island

• TV producer Rajan Shahi purchased a 5BHK penthouse in Raheja Exotica Cyprus, Madh Island, for ₹13 crore.

• The penthouse offers 3,248 sq ft of RERA carpet area plus a deck exceeding 400 sq ft, located on the 35th floor.

• The transaction was closed at over ₹37,000 per sq ft, highlighting luxury demand in Mumbai’s island locations.

• Singer Jubin Nautiyal and actor Sanjay Mishra also own apartments in the same building.

4. Sony Pictures leases 73,000 sq ft office space in Mumbai

• Sony Pictures leased 73,000 sq ft of office space at Commerz III on Western Express Highway, developed by Oberoi Realty.

• The lease spans five years, covering ~31,000 sq ft on the 19th floor and ~42,000 sq ft on the 20th floor.

• The rent starts at ₹2.27 crore per month for the first 36 months and rises to ₹2.61 crore for the next 24 months.

• Earlier in January 2026, Morgan Stanley leased ~1 million sq ft in the same building at a starting rent of ₹15 crore per month.

5. Jaypee case: Manoj Gaur surrenders in Tihar Jail

• Former Jaypee Infratech MD Manoj Gaur surrendered in Tihar Jail after his bail was denied on February 17 2026.

• The ED arrested him on November 13 2025 in connection with an alleged ₹14,599 crore homebuyer fraud case.

• Investigators alleged that funds collected from thousands of buyers were diverted, leaving multiple projects incomplete.

• Over ₹33,000 crore had been collected by Jaypee Infratech and Jaiprakash Associates for projects in Noida and Greater Noida.

6. Creditors back Welspun-Ashdan bid for Lavasa

• Creditors approved the Welspun Group–Ashdan consortium’s bid to acquire Lavasa with a 92 % vote.

• Lavasa has been under insolvency since 2018 after debt crossed ₹6,642 crore.

• Rival bidder Valor Estate challenged the result at the NCLT, citing procedural concerns.

• Welspun-Ashdan offered ₹65 crore upfront cash with stronger institutional backing, while Valor proposed a higher NPV.

7. Mortgage Technology leases 1.93 lakh sq ft in Pune

• ICE Mortgage Technology leased 1.93 lakh sq ft office space in Magarpatta Cybercity, Pune, for ~₹217 crore total rent.

• The lease covers 1.54 lakh sq ft carpet area across the underground floor, lower ground and levels 1–7 of Tower S3.

• The starting monthly rent is ₹1.73 crore with a 15 % escalation every three years.

• The space was leased from Axis Max Life Insurance, signalling continued GCC expansion in Pune.

8. Rustomjee bags ₹1,775 cr redevelopment in Andheri

• Rustomjee Group secured a major redevelopment project in Mumbai’s Andheri with revenue potential of ₹1,775 crore.

• The project will unlock ~5 lakh sq ft of free-sale RERA carpet area on a 20,569.90 sq m land parcel.

• It involves redevelopment of eight housing societies under Om Nagar Co-operative Housing Society Federation.

• The plan will rehabilitate 637 existing society members across all eight societies.

9. Haryana plans India’s tallest tower in Global City

• Haryana proposed India’s tallest building as part of the 1,000-acre Global City project along the Dwarka Expressway near Gurugram.

• The mixed-use tower will integrate premium offices, global headquarters, hospitality and public spaces.

• The project is currently at proposal and RFP stage, with bidding yet to begin.

• Officials aim to create a skyline rivaling cities such as Singapore and Dubai, positioning Global City internationally.

10. ED attaches ₹82 cr assets in Gurugram project fraud

• The ED attached ₹82 crore worth of assets linked to Ansal Housing in Gurugram.

• The action relates to Ansal Hub-83, a 2.47-acre commercial project in Sector 83 with shops, offices and restaurant units.

• Authorities alleged the developer launched and sold units without valid approvals and continued collecting funds after licence expiry in 2015.

• The case originated from an FIR by Haryana Police against promoters and officials of the company.
