  • The victim, Gaurav Narula, a New York-based NRI since 1997, inherited the 810 sq m Sushant Lok 1 plot from his father in 1991
  • Another individual impersonated Gaurav Narula during the registration of the fake deed, Narula has not been to India since 2020
  • The accused, Manish Kumar is a Punjab resident, posed as the property owner’s fictitious brother
  • Fake Aadhaar & PAN documents were created in Gaurav Narula’s name, despite him not possessing an Aadhaar card, to forge ownership transfer
