1. Sonu Sood bags ₹3 cr profit after selling his Mumbai apartment for ₹8 cr
- Lokhandwala Minerva in Mahalaxmi is a premium residential tower known for high-end amenities and luxurious living
- Previously, Manoj Bajpayee and wife Shabana Raza, sold their Minerva Tower apartment in August 2024 for ₹9 cr
- The apartment in Lokhandwala Minerva in Mahalaxmi features a carpet area of 1,247 sq ft and includes two car parking spaces
- Sonu had originally purchased the apartment in 2012 for ₹5 cr
2. Microsoft leases 2.6 lakh sq ft of office space in Hyderabad for ₹5 cr monthly rent
- Microsoft India (R&D) has leased 2.64 lakh sq ft office space in Phoenix Centaurus at an effective monthly rent of ₹204 per sq ft
- Microsoft’s outgoing rent includes ₹67 base rent, ₹16 CAM, ₹39 operating expenses, ₹74 capital expenses & ₹7 mgmt fee per sq ft
- The leased space covers the 3rd & 4th floors and is being sub-leased from Tablespace Technologies, which leased it from Phoenix Tech Zone
- The lease is among Hyderabad’s biggest commercial real estate deals of the year
3. Anil Kapoor and son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor buy an apartment in Mumbai for ₹5 cr
- The apartment purchased by the Kapoor duo is located on Pali Mala Road near Pali Hill in the Bandra West area of Mumbai
- Pali Hill is renowned for celbrities owning multiple apartments including Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor etc
- The apartment is located in a building named The Smoky Hill CHS and has a built-up area of 1,165 sq ft
- The apartment was purchased from five people: Dilipraj Paidpati, Deepa Shahi, Jaytilka Paidpati, Raman Malhora, and Raman Gupta
4. Hrithik Roshan rents his sea facing Juhu apartment to girlfriend Saba Azad for ₹75,000
- Located in Mannat Apartments (Vartamaan) on Juhu-Versova Link Road, the apartment is rented at ₹75,000 per month
- The apartment spans 12,000 sq ft, offering expansive sea views and luxurious living space
- In May 2025, Hrithik and his father Rakesh Roshan sold three apartments in Andheri for a combined value of ₹6 cr
- He originally purchased 3 floors in same building in October 2020 including the 18th floor and a duplex on the 19th and 20th, for ₹97 cr
5. TCS expands Bengaluru footprint with ₹2,130 cr, 15‑year 1.4 million sq ft lease
- The lease includes 6.8 lakh sq ft in Tower 5A and 7 lakh sq ft in Tower 5B, with a total monthly rent of ₹9 crore at ₹66 per sq ft
- The office space is spread across Towers 5A and 5B in the city’s southern IT corridor of Electronic City at 360 Business Park
- The lease is with Labzone Electronics City Pvt Ltd with a 12% rent escalation every three years
- TCS has signed one of Bengaluru’s biggest office leases, taking 1 mn sq ft for over 15 years
6. India’s 28-listed realty firms sell properties worth ₹53k cr in Apr-Jun
- Prestige Estates Projects Ltd led the pack with highest pre-sales, totaling ₹12,126 cr, making it the top listed developer for the quarter
- The quarter highlighted a continuing surge in demand for residential housing, especially from organized and reputed players
- The top five listed real estate developers contributed a significant share of the total ₹53,000 cr sales
- Other top performers included DLF, Godrej Properties, and Lodha Developers, indicating the dominance of leading branded players
7. PVR INOX signs a 15-year lease for a 10-screen theatre at Sky City Mall in Mumbai’s Borivali
- The lease is based on a monthly rent of ₹91 lakh or 20% of revenue (biannually), whichever is higher
- PVR Inox has leased 43,534 sq ft of retail space from Oberoi Realty
- The lease includes a five-year lock-in period and a 15% rent escalation every 36 months for added stability
- The leased space will host a megaplex featuring 10 auditoriums, foyers, lounges, and a total seating capacity of 1,372
8. House of Abhinandan Lodha partners with Zepto for instant land buys within 10 minutes
- Buyers can pay a refundable token amount to reserve plots, with subsequent payments staggered for ease of purchase
- Users can type “land” in Zepto’s search bar to be redirected to a dedicated page showcasing HoABL’s available plotted developments
- With a few clicks, users can view land inventory, initiate inquiries, and connect with HoABL representatives for further assistance
- HoABL’s projects are located in Goa, Alibaug, Ayodhya, Dapoli, Vrindavan and the firm plans new developments in Amritsar & Shimla
9. Sri Lotus to Launch ₹2,000 Cr Luxury Project in Bandra by FY27
- Shah Rukh Khan is likely to receive a 2,800 sq ft 4 BHK apartment as part of the redevelopment
- The project is to be launched in Bandra’s Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road, where Shah Rukh Khan owns a sea-facing apartment
- The total saleable area will be 1.35 lakh sq ft, with a mix of 4 and 5 BHK units available for sale, priced at around ₹1.50 lakh per sq ft
- Existing society members will get 45% of the constructed carpet area as rehab, while 55% will be sold by the developer
10. US-based NRI’s Gurugram plot sold for ₹10 cr using fake gift deed
- The victim, Gaurav Narula, a New York-based NRI since 1997, inherited the 810 sq m Sushant Lok 1 plot from his father in 1991
- Another individual impersonated Gaurav Narula during the registration of the fake deed, Narula has not been to India since 2020
- The accused, Manish Kumar is a Punjab resident, posed as the property owner’s fictitious brother
- Fake Aadhaar & PAN documents were created in Gaurav Narula’s name, despite him not possessing an Aadhaar card, to forge ownership transfer
