1. Kriti Sanon buys sea-facing luxury duplex penthouse in Mumbai’s Bandra west at ₹78 cr
- The duplex penthouse in Bandra West’s Supreme Prana is spread across the 14th and 15th floors
- The 6,636 sq.ft. home includes a 1,209 sq.ft. private terrace and six dedicated car parks
- At ₹1.18 lakh per sq.ft., it ranks among Bandra’s most expensive celebrity real estate deals this year
- The apartment offers uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling views of the Arabian Sea
2. IKEA India opens its first Delhi store at Pacific Mall
- Swedish retailer IKEA India on August 13 announced its first store in Delhi, at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden
- Spanning 15,000 sq. ft., the outlet offers a selection of over 2,000 products on display, around 800 available for immediate purchase
- IKEA’s Delhi store follows the ‘One Click, 30 Minutes Away’ model, offering curated solutions like its other city stores in urban hubs
- The Delhi store launch follows IKEA’s NCR online debut in March, as part of its wider omnichannel expansion
3. Hrithik Roshan expands real estate portfolio with ₹31 cr office purchase in Mumbai’s Chandivali area
- HRX Digitech LLP, jointly held by Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan, acquired three office units in the Boomerang building, Chandivali
- These spaces collectively span 13,546 sq ft of carpet area
- The sellers for the recent purchase include Manish Krishangopal Bazari, Shalini Manish Bazari, and Bazspace Pvt. Ltd.
- The deal follows a prior acquisition in 2024, where HRX Digitech procured five office units in the same building for ₹37 cr
4. Keystone Realtors buys 3 Mumbai land parcels to build homes worth ₹7,700 cr
- The company achieved record pre-sales of ₹1,068 cr during April to June 2025, marking a 75% YoY increase
- CMD Boman Irani stated they’ve already surpassed their FY26 target of adding ₹6,000 cr worth of projects
- The company has bagged a ₹4,521 cr project for redevelopment of GTB Nagar Cluster at Sion in Mumbai.
- It secured a ₹2,956 cr project of Lokhandwala Cluster at Andheri (West) and a ₹251 cr redevelopment project at Goregaon (East)
5. Brookfield acquires Jet Airways office floor in Mumbai’s BKC for ₹370 cr
- In 2020, as part of the same insolvency proceedings, it had acquired two floors in the building for ₹490 crs
- Brookfield acquired Jet Airways office space in Godrej BKC by exercising its right of first refusal, under NCLT’s IBC process
- The deal expands Brookfield’s footprint to 250,000 sq ft across three contiguous floors in the 19-storey commerical building
- Those floors are fully leased to marquee tenants including the World Bank and PayPal
6. Eaton Tech leases 1.5 lakh sq. ft. office in Pune for ₹1 cr monthly rent
- The high-grade office space is at Aditya Shagun Infinity IT Park in Pune’s Baner area
- The premises include 150 parking slots each for four-wheelers and two-wheelers, providing ample space for employee vehicles
- Eaton plans to establish its Global Capability Center (GCC) at this location, marking a major strategic move for its India operations
- Over the 10-year term, the rental outlay is projected to exceed ₹250 crs, making it one of Pune’s largest IT park leasing deals in 2025
7. CapitaLand plans ₹19,200 cr push into Mumbai, Pune real estate markets by 2030
- So far, it has invested over ₹6,800 cr across 10 assets in the state
- CapitaLand’s investment (CLI) spans key commercial segments: business parks, data centres, logistics, and industrial parks
- CLI commenced operations in Maharashtra since 2013, beginning with International Tech Park Pune in Hinjawadi developed with MIDC
- Future investments will be routed through CLINT, private funds, and the Ascendas‑Firstspace platform
8. Dow Chemicals leases five floors in Navi Mumbai for ₹1 cr a month
- Dow Chemicals leased 1.79 lakh sq ft in Mindspace Business Park, Airoli, under a 10-year lease
- The leased area spans five floors and includes 225 car parking slots in the non-processing zone of the SEZ
- Mindspace SEZ, located in the Trans Thane Creek Industrial area, is a designated IT/ITes sector special economic zone built on leasehold land
- Fit-out rent for the space is set at ₹29.45 per sq ft per month
9. Maharashtra CM Fadnavis flags rising property prices in Mumbai despite major infra push
- CM highlighted the demand-supply imbalance & emphasizes the need for innovative construction technologies
- Highligting major infra projects like Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Coastal Road & Navi Mumbai airport, the CM raised concerns on rising property prices in the city
- The CM also highlighted the government’s long-term growth strategy, including the plan to create a ‘Fourth Mumbai’ around the upcoming Vadhavan Port in Palghar district
10. NCLAT clears way for insolvency proceedings against Supertech Realtors
- The insolvency case was filed by Bank of Maharashtra over a ₹168 cr loan default
- Supernova project was being built on a land measuring 70,002 sq mtr at Sector 94, Noida and comprises residential apartments, offices, retail space, and a luxury hotel.
- The proceedings revolve around the ₹2,326 cr Supernova project in Noida, planned as an 80-floor mixed-use tower
